Christmas from around the World
Quartetto Gelato presents a holiday program that is inspired by the full range of emotions we enjoy at this special time of year! Listeners will experience a sense of reverence, melancholy, and joy listening to this program that travels throughout America, Italy, England, France, Germany, and Peru. Selections range from secular to sacred, classical to popular, traditional to contemporary and are performed as instrumentals and vocals in a theatrical setting that also includes poetry and dialogue. The songs and carols are sung in styles ranging from that of Mel Tormé to Pavarotti.
